Easter 2012

Posted on

So I know I am a week late in posting this, but give me a little break just this one time!

This year Easter, Adelynn’s Birthday and my birthday all fell within 5 days. Adelynn’s birthday and mine are 5 days (and 23 years) apart. So this will be something that will go on forever.

However, this year Easter fell on Adelynn’s birthday. We had a fun birthday party a couple weeks ago. I shared pictures in my last post.

We have had a busy few weeks with party planning, events and getting back to real life.

Adelynn had 3 Easter Egg Hunts over Easter. Pictures below.

Egg Hunt #1 at Grammy and Granddad’s.

She found out that she can open them with her mouth. We figured since it was her first year, she wouldn’t even know there was supposed to be anything in the eggs, so we didn’t bother. It’s a good thing too or the contents would have probably slid right into her mouth!

Egg Hunt #2 at Nana’s Church

She got a York Peppermint Patty in one of her eggs. On the way home she opened it and took a bite. She was so proud of herself that she said
“Mommy Lookie!” and showed me her mint – minus a bite. Smile

Egg Hunt #3 at Great Grandma and Grandpa K’s

Great pictures . . . and memories. I especially like the last two, with her sitting beside a tree with her Easter baskets each year. She looks so proud in the last picture, with her big “chocolate” smile! What a sweetie!

  2. I love the picture of her and Olivia together. 🙂 Also, I noticed her dresses were very similar from both years. I had a fun Easter with all of you!
