Here’s some time spent catching up on the happenings of our family.
This girl always wakes up happy!
We went to “Old McDonalds” for lunch. Ava is big stuff and moved to the next table. (She just scooted down the bench).
I was cleaning up the bathroom after giving them baths. The house got very quiet. I found them sitting together in their jammies just looking out at the beauty of the day.
It’s no secret when Ava finds a marker.
Adelynn is good at using chopsticks!
She struggled with the soup, so it’s a good thing she’s resourceful too!
We went to pick out pumpkins. The girls enjoyed their complimentary apples and apple cider. Adelynn picked out the middle pumpkin. Ava picked out the tiny pumpkin in the front.
This accurately captures our lives.
The girls with Granddad after church.
This is the wreath I made for Fall! I love Fall!
Adelynn started preschool! She loves it and asks if she can go every day!
Here she is by the Preschool tree.
Adelynn and her friend colored all over her doll house. She soon learned that a large sponge does the quickest work.
Ava colored the discarded coupon sheets. I like the recycling idea!
I left my milk from my cereal unattended on the porch. She had a milk bath and then an actual bath.
We have an excellent new park here.
SO much fun spinning together.
She put her helmet on so she could go out in the rain.
We were fortunate enough to attend a backyard concert performed by The Steel Wheels. The lead singer is the son of our lead pastor and his wife.
It was a beautiful evening and the music and company couldn’t be beat!
We had about 30 women painting on this night! We truly have some fantastic ladies in our church. Fun times!
Look who got into Grammy’s purse.
Markers, blanket and thumb.Toddler life.
Ava attempts to kill the fly with her fork.
It’s okay, Adelynn. I can’t stay awake while watching The Sound of Music either.
Mmm Cake pops.
I told her we needed to brush teeth, get shoes on and go bye bye. So there’s that.
Adelynn’s friend Eden had a My Little Pony themed birthday party. She loved the pony mask! So naturally, when we went to the next birthday party a few days later, she decided to wear it.
They all have big round eyes and big round cheeks. (and 3/4 of them have open mouths) Which ones are mine?
We went to the state fair a couple of times. The first time I took Adelynn on the sky ride. It was so fun to hear her talk about everything she could see.
On the ferris wheel with Ava.
Adelynn and Dave on the ferris wheel. Oh, and Anna and Elsa. They got the full experience of the fair too.
On the train with Ava, Adelynn and Grandma.
Little Elsa met big Elsa.
Fabulous little train wavers!
The days are long, but the years are short.
