Sisters don’t let sisters do time out alone.
Just like Mom.
Bruce is never short on cuddles.
Even after my Mom’s ankle surgery, and she’s on the scooter, we all hold hands in the parking lot on the way to get cupcakes.
I had hung this art display board up during her nap. When she came out of her room, she assumed the clothespins were for clothes, naturally.
Her new kitchen – in our kitchen.
They chose to eat their bananas like cats.
Because birthday mornings should include donuts!
Good times with good friends! (Hi, Cheri! Thanks for reading!)
On this morning, we were already reading before getting dressed for the day!
2 weekends were spent building a fence around our back yard. I wish I had a picture of the finished product. However, here is a picture of all of our helper’s vehicles (this is not even all of them. We had such a huge and wonderful group of helpers and friends – and that included more trucks.) Notice which vehicle doesn’t belong! 😉
One of Dave’s coworkers was an awesome helper, but he left in the afternoon for his daughter’s birthday party. He even brought back cupcakes when he came back to help some more! The girls loved that!
While the guys worked, my Grandma and some friends helped give my kitchen and dining room a new coat of gray! The yellow was fine for a while, but the gray was just what I needed!
This is why our little cuddle bug rides in the cart.
Our cat is a drooling machine.
Here is a shot of the fence! And Ava playing with her new Easter kite from Grammy & Granddad.
First (coffee-less) Frappuccino experience. That is the face of approval.
It’s pretty normal to find Adelynn asleep in her tent at night.
This girl has got it going on.
When you think she is asleep but she instead walks out of her room at 10PM with a crown on… you’ve got to love her.
Opening Easter gifts early from Grandma & Grandpa.
I mean… most people use their bubble wands as spoons, right?!
Adelynn and I made a day trip to Wichita so my friend Hannah could cut our hair. I have so much fun with this girl!
Nana wore sister out too.
Finished product! You’re the best, Han!
Because we couldn’t find her shoes, Nana went home barefoot. We later found them… Ava sure is thorough at cleaning up!
In their Easter best – in front of the new fence!
So now they like to take pictures there.
I couldn’t find Adelynn during quiet time and it made me nervous. And then I looked under her bed.
Over loved cat with the fancy girls.
Ava saw my bucket and declared “Bubbles!” and dropped her bath toy in. Clearly I mop often.
The birthday girl in her birthday dress blowing out 5 candles!
Teaching GG how to play the fishing game.
They love verenika! We are raising them right.
This was Ava’s first time going down the big slide at the Fairgrounds. They all loved it.
Oh hey. Just sitting in the laundry basket on the couch while Mom makes lunch. You know.
Darren surprised us with cupcakes and flowers. He also impressed us with his serious chalk art skills.
When you choose not to nap… you fall asleep on Mom. That’s when she photobombs you and puts it on the internet.
I spilled the sugar in a nice little pile. Ava did her best to help me clean it up 🙂 Bless her heart.
Adelynn’s teachers call them The 3 Musketeers.
Queen of the hill.
Getting herself ready for dance rehearsal.
